Garage Queen 2005 SSR Blk for 2002 Z06
Just putting it out there, you never know. I miss shifting gears and want to trade possibly up/down or sideways for a 2002. Zo6 My R as there called just turned 20,000 miles, is all black called Asphalt, almost every option except bed package and console gauges. Rarely been in the rain, is dead stock and really an attention getter. You have no idea until you own one. They are starting to make a comeback and values are on the rise with low miles, options and documentation key factors. I want a Z as my wife has an A/E we bought new. These are a real hoot at a car show/cruise night and the ease of entry/exit is great on the lower body. This cost slightly more than my A/E when new. My wife is not happy about trying this senario. Thx for your consideration.
Hydraulic top in down mode behind rear seat.
All original factory paint except running boards "blacked out". New Goodyear GSA OEM tires last season with 0 - 0 pro alignment.
Black leather, heated seats, Delco Bose, Power everything.
Corvette engine 6.0 only on 05 & 06
Favorite cruise night spot. See reflection in door of my buddies 1960 Corvette on drivers side.

Never to far for the right deal!
John,
I like the stock and 23,000 miles part but I'm stuck on an 02 as I want one for NCRS Judging and 02 is the cut off until next year. The R is sitting on top of my lift in a heated garage since November 1st and unless someone comes along will be there until April. Trying to line up a trade for spring over the winter but this might be a toughie. But, you never know. My dream 02 would be white with red interior. Next silver, then red or black with red interior. There out there.
Build sheet. Sold new in Erie Pa. in 2 GM dealer collections.
Attached is my build sheet.

Post price range per forum rules.
Asking in the range of $28,500 if selling straight out. Have a standing offer from last season in the mid $20's from "A grinder". Not to be confused with higher mileage, less optioned, modified, rebuilders you see. Have a custom car cover, Calgon nose bra, Lloyds bed mat and floor mats, owners manuals, history back to new and everything works like it supposed to. See 4 real special SSR's at BJ. The first 2 sold for over $50,000. Again, mileage, options, condition and rarity. Only made in a 4 year run just a little less than 25,000 total units build. 1 of 1767 black 05's.

Interesting
I didn't realize that. Last year at the Altoona Regional meet there was a white / red interior Z06 on the Floor with a F/S sign on the seat. WOW was my reaction. Talked with owner who is 65 Team leader and he said it was his wife's car, she ordered it new, won some awards and wants to move on with some of there other new ones. How nice.
Saying that, I would change my criteria to include this combination if it arises. Thanks.

Did you ever go to an SSR rally
It's surprising how many Corvette owners also have now or previously owned SSR's. I've been to a few Rally's and R specific cruise ins and many have both. They are a very passionate group. Coincidence your trade mirrors what I'm trying to do. Im getting some strong pushback from the Mrs and this might not happen.
