Got my Alky kit installed… Going to have it dyno tuned first thing in the morning. The ECS Alky kit is a really nice and neat kit to install. They give you everything you need to install except the alky LOL. I would expect to gain about 30 to 60 hp with the new setup but really want the kit for reliability for the new boost (3.1 pulley) that I have added, some what cheap insurance for the s/c.
For the install:
All the cables are run nice and tight and out of sight as well for the pump. You pretty much have to know its there to see it since the lines are routed underneath the windshield tank and underneath the radiator shroud, and for the spray nozzle is mounted underneath on the bottom of the high flow power duct for a nice clean look. I also have my test button and gain **** mounted in my glove box for easy access right next to my Boost of pump adjustment. The PAC controller is left out on the side of the console until all the necessary tuning is done then I will put back behind the center console.
p.s.
I will take some pics of the setup tomorrow as well and post them so if someone is interested in the setup they can check it out.
Question for all the ALKY experts, do you think it is necessary to run an alky lubricant to insure the entire fuel system is lubricated properly for the alky setup such as ALKY TOP OIL. http://www.daymotorsports.com/product/323/c/17/# I would assume with such a small amount of alky it would not be a problem but was just wondering.
It’s a no brainier, just read the instructions before you start. As long as you can read and turn a wrench you can do it but make sure you read everything before hand so you understand step by step what to do.
You will need to take off the front left tire and wheel well to mount the pump so if you have a good jack you’ll be fine there other then that it’s a peace of cake.
Well the Dyno got cancled due to rain... Andy didnt want one of his guys driving in the rain and of course its a 111 mile trip one way for me as well so we decided to put it off until April 2...
Heres the pics...
Pics of the motor were you can see the lines running underneath the radiator shroud.
Pic of the Nozzle under the high flow power duct.
Pic of the Alky light when its spraying.
Alky on/off gain **** and test button in the glove box.
Another pic of the glove box with both Alky on/off switch and my boost a pump.
Some what of a stealth setup, I was not able to get a pic of the pump mounted on the frame, it was to dark and to far down for my camera to capture it.

I like the way you ran the line to the power duct. Does it run under the W/W tank then under the rad shroud?

Very nice install
someone might take it for a sneaky pete system.
We just sold one of our s/c kits to another tuner with an alky kit included. They got 460 on gas (unlocked a4) and 508RWHP with the alky. I'm sure you will see some nice gains also.
