Default ECS Alky kit

Well I finally got the car back together thursday night, after installing my ECS alky kit and the MSD fuel pump booster.
Took it out Friday temps in the mid 60"s and all I can say is HOLY S**T.
And this is with no tuning yet, I will be having APE tune it this Wed.
I now break traction in any gear with an A4
Guess I'll be looking for some sticky tires in the near future then I'll have to upgrade the trans.
Does the sickness ever stop??????????? 58 and still have it!

I'm only twenty-six, but I truly believe the answer is _no_.

Have you stepped down to a smaller pulley yet? How much boost are you making?

Cheers,

Mark

Mark, I'm running a 3.6" pulley that gives me 8.2 lbs of boost at 6000 rpm. One of the changes I'm contemplating is to raise it to 6500.
That should give me around 10 psi, now I'm still running a stock bottom end but the car rarely sees track use.
I also have modified the PCV system so NO oil gets into the intake period at any time!
And I will be using pure M1 methanol to prevent detonation and as a fuel.
And with the MSD fuel pump booster set at its lowest setting I'm seeing rock solid 60 psi fuel pressure with 42 lb injectors.
Remember I'm running a 98 so I have the regulator and return line on the fuel rail so I don't have the pressure drop the later models have.

BTW when I was 26 I was driving a 67 Barracuda with a bored and stroked 383 that ran 11.40's through the mufflers!
