I saw that today on our local forum....what a damn shame....
The intake is completely gone!!! no evidence of it at all.....
I just downloaded the vidy and the camera guy is a fxckin' *******. Kick a guy when he is down...really smooth. Like the announcer said, the car can be replaced....atleast he is o.k.
I thought it was funny, however, when he jumped out of the car and ran nearly into the stands......
Oh, BTW, why did they let the car just burn?!?!?!?! It probably woulda saved the guy thousands if they were on top of their game and put that **** out immediately.....

If I were to speculate, I'd say the nitrous backfired, kicked the intake manifold off, ruptured a fuel rail or the fuel rail crossover, and the fire ensued from there?

Hard to say what's worse, the end result, or the ignorant ricer commentary in the video. They go there to videotape their friends 14 second tub o crap, and then laugh as a 50k Z06 burns. Man, kids today...
