i've got an 04 coupe. is the white wire under the dash on the driver side the tach wire? is it wrapped up in electrical tape? Any tricks I need to know in installing this part? TIA

There are three white wires in that harness that are basicly the same size. You have to test each one to find the correct wire.
Set it up as a four cylinder.
if you use the white wire you have to set it up as a 4 cyl. i just installed one yesterday. it doens't work when it's set on 1 cyl. like the instuctions say
I used the #10 pin white wire off the computer in the front pass tire well (under batt). It was easyer for me to get to concerning were I mounted my MSD switches. Another choice.
wth man that pisses me off. I thought I did something wrong cause It wouldnt work for me. Of course I was using the 1 cyl setup like they say. Any ideas on the thought process behind this BS? sorry im a little upset, I tinkered with that thing for hours.
I'm going to be doing the same thing here over the next week/2. I got the digital MSD unit. Did not read the directions yet, but it appears from what you guys are saying is to set it for 4 cyl. Are there any other tricks I should know. I'm installing a NXL kit with MSD digital window, WOT switch, remote bottle opener, heater, purge kit, NX switch panel, fuel pressure gauge, & n2o guage. I think that covers all the parts. I've seen some trick/clean looking set-ups on this site. Any feedback would be appreciated.
make sure you wire the window switch on the switch side of the relay and not right off the solinoid like the instructions say. i followed the instructions and the fuel solinoid didn't work due to lack of amprerage, and the n2o solinoid doesn't use as much amps so it was working. so on the dyno i had a 18.7 to 1 air fuel ratio. (yea not good at all). so be carefull how and where you wired it
No the fpss goes to the relay. I'm using the window switch to supply ground for the fpss. If the fpss isn't grounded, the relay is not grounded therefore never activating the system. I'm sure there are other ways to control the relay.
