Default New Mod List....

Coming up I will add the following, New diff with 3.73's, hardened shafts and upgraded clutch pack (the 3.42's I have now suck with a on and off clutch) Upgraded rubber and aluminum bushings on the torque tube, Alky injection, slap on the old 18/19 541 HRE's, new rubber (KDW II BFG's) all the way around, Install the big brake system 6/4 13.6 two piece rotors front and rear and dyno tune the car again!!

I should be in good shape after this round of mods.. able to drive on the street with a set of brakes that will actually stop the car. I wont have to buy the 100 octane fuel anymore saving over $1.50 per gallon.

Looking forward to having a C5 again for the local events as well!!

... you'll like the KDWII's.

91 Octane should be the same price as race gas soon... so you might want to hold off on that idea

Curious why the 3.73 will make a difference with on/off clutch. How is it easier to drive? Reason I ask is I know you have a TON of HP and most people go down in gears. I myself have 4.10's and want to go back down to 3.42's. I will get this done later since ECS doesnt have any cores to give to me yet. Will my car be easier to drive with the larger gear? I know it will spin a hell of a lot easier.

I really liked the taller gearing with all the HP... however taking off with a clutch like mine is really a delicate operation and a PITA!! I feel as though I am not loosing any top speed (going BACK to 3.73's) as I can still go well over 210+ MPH.. so I might as well make taking off in first gear a fun thing instead of a NASCAR launch.

Nice shopping list. Curious though, I thought that you already had the Wilwood 6/4 system. What were you using that didn't seem to work?

I took off the wilwood system and re-installed the OE system (as well as re-installing the OE tires and wheels) Now its time to put back on the good stuff, drive it and enjoy it.

Take off with stiff clutch is always like dealing with a btch on the rag. Unless everything is just right, is just wrong.
