It finally happend. I knew I would finally runout of things to replace so the bottom end is next. Im looking to crank up the boost a little bit. But to do that I need to go forged. I m thinking of running Mahle forged pistons. I cant decide on the rods. I m thinking of staying with the stock crank I hear its good for 600+ But if I can get a stroker for a resonable price I would go that route. I would like to stay away from eagle rods. Anybody have any suggestions?

Eagle makes a great H-Beam rod and its cheap... especially when you go to the 6.125 size (not LS1 specific size). Carillo, Lunati, and Oliver also make excellant rods... all MUCH more expensive than the Eagle. FWIW, like the stock crank, I haven't heard of anybody busting an Eagle H-Beam yet either.
