Default MAF screen removal

I have an '04 ls1 with TTi stage I if I remove my MAF screen will that do anything for me?

I wouldn't do it. Especially after a tune. Your calibration will be wrong.

thats what I was thinking but I'm going to be put a boost controller on and it will need to be retuned for the higher boost anyway so I thought it would be a good time to do it. especially since its on the rich side anyway, what do you think?

I would say no.. Add the boost controller and be done with it. You will not see a substantial gain and the screen will straighten out any turbulance.
