Default PCM wire #66

I assume I'm supposed to connect to this wire (for my window switch install) by the PCM, but where is this wire located? What connector is it located in? Is there a better place to connect to other than under the passengers foot area?

i love it when people TTT my threads

I'm going to finish the install tomorrow. If I don't get an answer here (highly unlikely), I'll PM you with my findings.

Is PCM wire #66 supposed to be the tach/rpm signal? There's an easier one to reach on the driver side IMHO... search for shift light install in C5 Tech and you should be able to find a post describing which wire to splice into.

shoot... I knew I was forgetting something. Mine's a '99 FRC.

I think 97-00 and 01-04's are different. Might as well post both cases so V8_Club will know as well

'99 and newer PCM's the tach wire is on the lower connector pin #10-white wire, 97/98 PCM the tach wire is on the upper connector pin #35-white wire. The pcm can be accessed by taking off front right tire and then inner fender panel (5/6 screws). It's actually quite easy, as this is how I did it. Look carefull and you will see numbers after taking the plastic clip on cover off.
