Glad its over with
Well i fanally sold the HP turbo kit I never got to see, since i could never get it installed. Now, after losing almost 3 grand on restocking fees and countless hours of aggrivation I think i am gonna switch to a Supra. Just so much easier to find someone who can work on one.

What were the main problems with getting the kit installed? I cant beleive you said supra on this board That is like a bad word on here. Good luck with the supra. They are badass. I have my supra for sale. What are you looking for?

Don't get a supra, supra's are gay. Why would you want to ride around in a ricer over a vette? Everyone has bad experiences at one time or another, just learn from it and move on. There are tons of proven options for any kind of mod you can imagine for vettes. It amazes me that anyone would dump that much money into something that has been so shady from day 1. I guess I can say it doesn't surprise me.

Didn't you order a motor from Andy? Hope you don't screw him by ordering a motor you have no intentions of taking delivery on. Not that he can turn it quickly but still... thats
... unless you plan on putting it in a Supra? Hope you reconsider your options...Best of luck

You know, I had a reply written during some of this posters turbo drama, but decided to give him (I believe this poster referred to themselves using "guy" as well) the benefit of the doubt. I was also willing to overlook their relatively new status on this forum.
It's a pretty standard internet tactic to come onto a car forum, claim some grand scheme of purchasing/upgrades/etc., then feign "frustration" and simply claim to have sold everything.
All these problems with shipping a car? Then some supposed turbo kit, that's now sold, then an engine order, now buying a totally different car? A Supra? (BTW, I owned one of the better Supras in the scene, put together by Titan Motorsports/Nero) And you can't find a good Vette mechanic, but can find a good Supra tuner? Where are you located? And suddenly there's a Supra owner, registered the same time?

As a new member myself--the mods I plan are true, my DS1C package with alky is in my hands thanks to another forum member--plus Andy will be sending out his stage II blower motor with many other goodies my way and I am really looking forward to shredding tires and stomping on vipers and ricers Atleast this forum member is telling is the truth on the upgrades
