Lowering Radiator
Has anyone lowered their radiator to install the factory dual fans with a DeWitts dirict fit or a Ron Davis twin core radiator?
I'm moving to Fl. in the next 2 weeks and need to know if using A&A or ECS lowering kits will work with the HD radiators!
I would like to just install the radiator and be done with it, I still have the single ATI fan but since it's one of the early ones it does run on 2 speeds and is adequate for Mi. but wondering about Fl.

Yep, bigger rads will work when lowering. Either of the lowering kits are the ticket. Lowering the rad and going back to stock fans does a couple things. It reduces potential for overheat and clears the intake to a MUCH MORE efficiant setup. You'll find you may need a tweak to the tune after going to a better intake setup for the blower... also, I'll bet you find 25-35 rwhp too
