97/8 regulator question
My fuel pressure has been holding strong lately, but i have a question regarding the stock regulator.
It appears that when i first start the car up, the fuel pressure will be around 56psi and after driving a while and letting the car sit, at next startup (within a few hours) the pressure will be at 60-62psi.
I have the regulator capped, and when i go WOT it will hold the pressure and drop maybe 2 psi wether it is at 56 or at 60, so i think the pump is doing it's job and working well.
I did replace the regulator and that did not seem to help.
just recently it has been showing 52-54 at first startup, but again it is holding the pressure strong and not dropping off, just curious if this is normal flucuation for the stock regulator or maybe it is just my fp sending unit.
