Default ECS Resolves My TTix Problem

I thought I was having a tunning issue with my build due to a tunning issue with ECS.

ME BAD!!!!!!!!!!!!

My car @ 4,000 Rpms seem to hit a wall which I thought was a problem with the tune as I said.

Well it turns out that when I was driving the car with the A/H control on it was retarding and adding fuel.

It was a real quick fix as Chris, Doug and myself took the car out with the A/H off and used my data log to road tune the car.

Well there was no need what so ever to re tune being my afr from 1st -6th was 11.8-11.9.

I can't beleive the difference how my car pulls like a freight train now and I have no traction @ WOT 1st-5th!!!!!

Like I said.

ME BAD

Nope no new dynos and my car will never be on the dyno again as it's all in the road tune under real load.

Dynos are only good for a base run to get a base tune.

The more dyno runs you make on a motor the worst it is for the motor.

My car pulls strong all the way up to 6,500, if I feel up to it I'll post a graph that I saved off my data logger.

Did the same thing. I would hit the pedal and around 5K the car would stumble and sputter. Told Doug about it and he asked if I had taken the traction control off. It seems when you get into the boost with A/H on it takes control because you are breaking the tires loose biggtime

Turned a/h off & no problem - well a different type of problem

I thought that when traction control was turned off, the PCM was allot less intrusive. But then it appears everything should be turned off.

Thanks for the heads up.

Oh, is your C5 01 or newer, because I thought firmware was changed to address these issues?
