Posted elsewhere but no response. I know this was posted a while back but couldn't find it. I am going to up-grade to the Aussie clutch. At the same time, I would like a DTE strut brace added and hardened shaft also. Any idea on cost for the package or seperatly. I have never had one of my cars worked on by someone else before, but have two ruptured discs in my neck and double hernia in my crotch, so wouldn't be able to do it till next year sometime. Thanks ahead.
Robert
The clutch should be around 600-750. If you have long tubes it would be around 1000.
Not sure about the rear but I was quoted 400 to install a DTE brace.
Not sure the price of the shaft.

Do you have to remove the rear end and tranny to do a clutch job? If that's the case than the DTE brace should only be an extra hour or so of labor. Everything just bolts right on, the only difficult part about doing that install is doing it while the components are still inside the car.
While it's on the car I'd expect to see 2-4 hours quoted, depending on whether the shop you take it to has done the brace install before.
Without Long Tubes would have cost me $450. With Long Tubes, I paid $600.... The delta was to remove and re-install the headers. That included replacing the hydrolics too.

In my area of NC it's about 500.00 but at the dealership they wanted about 1500.00 with long tubes ! The DTE strut brace should only take about another hr or 2 .
