Default Block question

I have a friend with a 2003 zo6 that wants 700rwhp, i tell you this because its important that he makes more power than his friend. Now my question is what block is better for running 15 to 20# of boost. The the vette block or a 6.0 iron block. My next question is how much can you bore either of these blocks and be safe, or if a AandA stage II block would be the best way to go.

I got my 6.0 block for $400. It seems to be safer for high boost so I have been told and does not have the over heating issues I have heard a lot of C5R and Darton blocks do. It also can be re-bored without sleeving ect. I think it is a great way to go.

What about a LS2 block? I hear it is thicker and I am sure you can EASILY get 700rwhp with a nice FI setup with that block. My suggestion would be a nice mild boost cam, ALL PRO heads, and a turbo or supercharger. Hell if he just wants to be quicker from 40 to 155mph than his buddy he could build a LS2 for nitrous and add two stages of nitrous and set the second stage up with a nice progressive controller. By the time the turbo or supercharged car gets going you will be several cars ahead. I am willing to prove this theory to anyone that lives local to me with my current setup.

Default I have zero overheating with my Darton wet sleeve.

In addition, you can peg it 6,800 r.p.m.'s sitting on the dyno and it still sits at 185-190. I do have an extensive cooling system.
