Default High Compression and boost...?

We have access to 100 octane at the pump. I dont drive my car that often anyway and I have the Ramchargers Timing Tuner to reduce timing when I am not playing.. I was wondering if I ran 100 octane all the time if I could run 10lbs of F1R boost on my current setup? What do you guys think?

10 lbs with 11.75:1 CR with 100 octane - tough one. Only one way to find out - hook up the tech II, monitor knock and you'll see. I think you'll be on the ragged edge.

You will need to change the heads and the cam to have a FI friendly setup. 11.75:1 with 10lbs of boost is asking for trouble IMHO.

I suspect you'll be okay, but you certainly won't be able to use much timing.

Ok what if I increased my head gasket size to try and get my compression to 11.1 to 1? I have L19 ARP head bolts which are stronger than the usual ARP's. Hell I could just have another set of 6.0L heads done up with 2.10 x 1.60 valves and around 75cc's and a thicker gasket to get me around mid 10's. No matter what I am going to spray if whether I add another power adder or not.

An ideal compression for 10psi would be around 9.7:1.
Bigger chamber heads is perfect, but the thicker gasket is a bad idea on these motors.

Spray + boost on a 408? You better have some big plans to put it to the ground. Remember at shot of n20 pretty much doubles under boost (100 na shot = 200 + shot on boost)

What about the new All Pro heads? I hear they have a thicker deck which would be ideal for boosted applications. I will spray a small shot if this plan is feasible.
