Maggie Planning Help
I'm planning to install an IC Maggie in my '04 6-speed Vert, and I have several questions for the group:
1) My car has a 4.10 gear. Is this too much gear for a blown daily driver?
2) I can't locate good pictures of the available hoods. If anyone has pics or links, please send the to thissenw@verizon.net.
Thanks.

IMHO I don't think the 4.10 gears are the best for that particular blower if you are going to be using anything less than drag radials (which most CF members use on the street). I think 3.73 would be as far as i would go, but stock would be best IMHO because I'm sure you are spinning a lot w/ out the blower.
I really don't like some of the hoods out there because they are too outrageous. RK Sport makes a subtle hood for the maggie. Depends on what you are going for. The magna extractor hood is totally awesome IMO, but for a daily driver, not sure you want all those vents (rain). 99_Z51-R (Eric) and Vettewreck (robbie) cut out their stock hoods to expose the maggie and I think that look is just out of this world...... and I think they both had aftermarket hoods for longer trips to keep rain off the blower.
I think the maggie is a great route to go w/ all that low end grunt!
