I am looking at putting the jug on the car this week. With a 100 hp dry kit should i be using ngk tr5 or tr6 plugs? what is the most one should spray with a dry kit? one more thing, i was thinking of using my old nos dry kit from my mustang and only using one solenoid. If i decide to run only one line into the air box instead of two lines as the nos 5117 kit shows, should i be using a bigger jet to srpay 100hp given that it will only be spraying on one side of the air box.
I would use TR6's. I sprayed a 125 dry shot on my LS1 for a couple of years with no problems. You will have to run a bigger jet if using 1 to adjust for the difference. Best call NOS for the conversion info. I also would definately fun a RPM window switch, fuel pressure safety switch, WOT switch and redundant N2o solenoids for added safety
what size of jet did you use for the 125 hp. did you use race gas? what gains did you make with the 125hp?
I will have to look at my notes for the jet size, used the largest ones with the kit and then had them machined out a few 100ths out....all of this was done on 93 octane gas... I did have the MAF recalibrated to provide additional fuel when spraying....never made it to the dyno
