I have a 97 C5 with the stock ATI Procharger set-up (7 psi). I just came in from practicing launch techniques (0-60 times) with my G-Meter Pro. Unfortunately, my belt began shredding after 3 or 4 runs. Thankfully, I was able to get the car home with enough of the belt still intact.
I always suspected a belt alignment issue, so I was wondering what tool I should be using to ensure the belt is properly aligned? I was also wondering what Forum Members recommend as far as replacement belts go?
I would save up for the ECS or A&A brackets to fix that belt slip. But, heard the laser light will help keep it alined. As far as belt, been told the Green Stripe is one of the better ones. I have the ECS brackets and green stripe myself.

I run the Goodyear Gatorback Belt, why, simple, because it was the only proper length belt available at 11pm on a Friday night. Anyway, it is very quiet and I had a minor allignment issue where the belt wore down but never frayed or let go in anyway shape or form. Like you, I had a pulley that was slightly off causing the premature wear and has since been fixed and a new belt (same length/style). I have never tried the green stripe but have heard good things.
