Andy just informed me that I need to go with the Mondo BOV. I assume its gonna be further away from the TB. I would talk to him and ask him what he thinks.

-Jeff-

What happens when your MAF less??My car blew up 2 MAFS yesterday while it was being tuned . Is there a HD MAF sensor I could use? or should I eliminate the MAF as well?

I talked to Andy last night. As it stands right now my car is pig rich at 10:1 and it doesnt have a ton of timing in it. He got 707RWHP
But........He shut down early cause he blew the MAF apart at 6300RPM. He thinks there at least 50 more hp.. I'm assuming we'll end up at around 755-760RWHP. This is all out of my lil ol 346...
Then what were gonna do is make one run ***** to the wall with race fuel and a ton of timing just to see what we pull out of it.

We have decided to tune it down to right around 700-710RWHP. This way its safe, and I dont end up shipping the car back to him in a month for a new motor..

andy is an awesume tuner, depends what he uses for soft ware too. you can lose the MAF and tune with SD off the map, from what ive been hearing this is what most high HP guys are doing, big blowers max out the MAF

I dont see what it would hurt by putting it there.. The only thing I would see would be space problems.

There is a guy on this forum that has his BOV right by the TB. I cant remember his name though. He has a silver FRC with a P1.
