I have 4 gallons sitting in my garage -- I was going to throw it in with my new rad setup, but I wanted to get a good before/after so I am gonna throw some standard coolant in the car before getting her back on the road. I'll post results as soon as I know one way or the other if it was worth it.
Glenn,
When I was at Xtreme we used the Evans coolant, and their modified water pump, on a Darton sleeve motor. That motor got just as hot as any other motor in the summertime here. So, IMO its a waste... unless you are going to do a Darton motor... where the sleeve manu says its mandatory for corrosion resistance...

Your not gonna see any dfference in temps on the guage. They even tellyou that. it's the fact that the coolant has such a low dynes rating that it's getting that heat out of the metal and delievring it to the heat exchanger.
In my experience, I've been able to sneak more timing in, and run a few more Psi with the evans.
In the subarus I swear by it due to the poor coolant flow around the rear diver's cyl. Overall it Think it's great stuff. it's not wate based so there s no electrolysis going on, doesn't freeze and crack the block, and doesn't boil until 400 odd degrees so there is no ressure in the coolant system. You could open it up hot while running andnot get burned.

It's propolyneglycol (not sure of the spelling) but it's great stuff! But it reacts violently when mixed with water or regular antifreeze.
The real advantage is the cooling system is not pressurized and it's safe enough to drink.
