Finally decided to take another plunge....the ol maggied c5 needs more upgrades. DTE did a fine job and the car has been flawless...So I call ol Phil and we decide to do a cam, springs, oil pump and tune the alky system in (along with a smaller blower pulley and stiffer tensioner)...Should get me some more ponies and sound great. Going to get one of DTE fine trans struts also. Now, I am also worried that trans will puke someday....(a4).. So,, I guess I am going to ask DTE what a trans and converter will run me...Better safe that sorry. I already have the 373 gears and shafts. So, after the trans I can start putting together plans for a better bottom end. Maybe bottle feed her a little then.
