Default Heads

I'm changing my head gaskets and had an idea, I was thinking of changing my LPE heads to AFR heads. Would it be worth the expense? Do they flow more then AFR? Need some opinions! My car has the LPE GT2-3 cam and an A&A kit with an ATI making 10 psi of boost!

The switch over would not be worth the cost in my opinion. If you need more power get a smaller blower pulley.

The heads that just came out are going to blow all the others away. There will be more info soon on them.

11* valve angle, chamber size 35, 45, 55, 65, and 75. Port size 215, 225, 235, 245, 255, & 265.

The 255 head flows 365cfm out of the box around 650 lift..but he low lift flow is about equal to the AFR 225s.

I think you ment the 265 heads on those flow numbers though, I was talking with Craig the other day... I don't think they have the 255's far enough along to have flow numbers.

BTW, the 265's ($2900) need $1450 Jessel rockers and $300 custom valve covers. The other heads in the line do not.

Dart also has a 205 and 225 head about to be released (within the next few weeks) that looks like it should give similar numbers as the AFR series (maybe a hair less flow), but at about half the price! If this happens expect them to sell like hotcakes!!!

The cat seems to be slipping out of the bag. The new valve angle is what I think is cool. I probably won't sell my heads to get these..but if I was in the market..would definetly consider them.

I really like the dart heads! But the 62cc things is much! Would these be better than my LPE heads?
