I finally finished my HP Twin Kit after a full week install. Everything went together pretty smooth. I did make a couple mistakes, but nothing i couldn't fix
Once installed i went to Texas speed, and it tuned by Jason. The tune was excellent, all the A/F ratio's were right on, and it ran great. I couldn't be happier with the tune and the kit, so thanks to HP Performance and Texas Speed for the tune.
The car put down 575RWHP, keep in mind this was on 90 octane, the timing advance was 14 or 15 and the a/f was 11.5 . This is a very streetable tune and drives great.
made an intake out of steel, close fit, but it works. Other mods are 220 cam, and lsx intake 78mm. But there was a lot more power to be made, but Jason backed out to 14 degrees of timing due to me still having the stock short block. I can only imagine what 10lbs could do!! This was between 5-6 lbs.

Finally, some numbers on the HP TT kit . Nice for only 6 lbs of boost and 90 octane. I imagine the cam and lsx intake add maybe 50RWHP, so assuming you have no other power adders, you are at 525RWHP on an LS1 based on kit only. Not bad at all. Is this an MN6 or an A4. Any turbo lag? Can you post your dyno sheet?
Nope, no forged motor, that is why Jason at TSP backed it off a little with the timing and a little more fuel to be safe. I will email you a pick of the intake tomorrow Roger
I will take pics of the intake tonight, that is about all you can see once it is put back together. I will send them to Roger and i know he has the capabilty to host them, maybe he will so we can all take a look at them.
I really had my heart set on a PTK kit, but since that is looking like a pretty risky proposition, it's looking more and more like HP might be the way I go if they can build some kits in inventory. I have a little time, but I really want to get something going soon.
Any issues with the kit? Banging in the fenders or ???
