I might be wrong, I know the 97s had it in the back and mine seems to be different than the pics, but I can't tell for sure.

it comes off to a 45 degree angle (to clear the abs module) and then has a filter on it.

the bottom of our pipe runs along even with the bottom of the power steering reservoir or about an inch and a half away from the abs module.

The air is pretty hot back there.

The original ATI kit got air from behind the radiator (it was the worse possible design). It was integrated into the fan shroud. Everyone who moved it to the front noticed a huge difference in charged air temps.

An open cone might not be as bad, but getting cool air from up front would be much better.

This is my ABS block(2002). My radiator is tilted back and lowered, so don't pay attention to that. I also have a line lock, which changes the lines slightly.

the down pipe goes down and splits into two 2 1/2 inch pipes and does connect to the stock locations.

Maybe it would be easier to lay down the radiator flat?

Niece work guys, it looks like a bit of tight fit but then there isn’t much room in engine bay. With your projected prices you will have a strong seller.

As mentioned above the air inlet location may be a source of concern to some. Keep up the good work and looking forward to numbers.

what are the charge pipes made out of, mild steel or stainless? Will this be a direct fit or will it require any cutting? What is being used for fuel/timing adjustment?

the base charge pipes are made out of mildsteel that is jet hot coated. there will be an option for stainless (price is still to be determined). there is a little cutting involved but very little. the bottom radiator support needs to be moved forward about 4 inches. other than that no cutting. we havent finished the kit yet so we arent to sure on the exact tuning that will be needed. but we are going to affer a free base line tune with hp tuners.

the waste gate will come off at a 90 degree from the collector at the turbo and will feed right back in to the down pipe. we will have pictures of this next week.

CF blowers don't have that problem at all. You are more likely to have that problem with this kit (depends on how much power you are trying to make).
