Default General supercharger maintenance?

I should have my car back this weekend (keeping my fingers crossed) and was just wondering what are some general maintenance procedures that need to be done to keep the car running it's best. Do the plugs need changed often? What about oil? Do ECS units have their own separate oiling system? Is there a certain amount of time that I should be easy on it to let it break in? Any little tidbit of info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Which supercharger kit did you go with? ECS does ProChargers, Paxtons, and MagnaChargers.

With a procharger, you will need to change the oil in the S/C after the first 500 miles and then 5k after that. Procharger uses a self contained oiling system, you will need to get the oil from Procharger for future changes. A majority of the guys on this forum use TR6 plugs with a .035 gap. But I am sure if you are purchasing this system from ECS they will fill you in on all the basic maintenance required.

Actually you went with a Paxton

No maintenance necessary, no break in necessary. Much quieter and a faster spool up on the boost.

(and yes, you should be finished by Friday night)

That is the best news I could've imagined getting today Doug!!! Man, I don't know what to say! After seeing Rob's video, I was wishing I had waited for the Paxton. Wow, what a surprise!!! Thanks so much!!

Glad you found out what you ordered...it makes it easier to talk about it
if you know what you are running.
