Should I or Shouldn't I....have done all the bolt ons and Head/Cam package...still looking for more HP, but only have 1k to spend....I think this is the best bang for my buck at this point....opinions? Thanks

 

You are in the same situation I am in, you will need at least another 1K just for fuel system upgrade on top of N20.

 

Been there and done that. LOL Now putting the SC on the car. Never enough you know!!!

 

You have quite the dilema. Been there done that, nitrous makes good power,blower in a bottle, but its not all the time and i cant ease into it and control traction. I could hide it and knowone would know, sleeper mode if there is such a thing for a corvette. But the cam and heads will make the car sound meaner nice rough idle (I wish they still used the old chevy firing order. left side , right side, right side, L side, R side, L side , L side , R side. ) just the way the car rocked side to side sorry thinking about the camaro. Anyway I ran a Nx wet kit for three years at 125 setting with no other upgrades, get all the safety stuff ,t.p.s switch. rpm switch, and if you want its good to use a fuel pressure safety switch As long as you dont use the system when your really low on gas, i would not use it if you have less than a quarter tank on gauge of gas, shifting could cause the pump to suck air or not be able to pick up enough fuel, no good. This holds true for blowers too alot of people overlook the fuel system, if pressure drops flow drops , rods drop. I now have the vortech kit with 50 wet shot, I will be use to that soon and want to move up with the big dogs , thats right dual turbo,s 1000 streetable horses is my goal Im at 680 now , I could only imagine another 300 ponies , and then what quads.

 

I have a 150 wet shot on my 02 Z06 now and I did not have to upgrade any of the fuel system. Had it dyno tuned and it the A/F ratio was nright where it needed to be.

 

I'm very happy with my decision to go with nitrous this past season and with the results I got with a little 75 shot.

Well, we are 50 RWHP or more than you before the N20 with the H/C and bolt ons, so that does make a difference. You are right on the edge, we are over it.

 

Put a LPE pump in the tank and buy a $500.00 nitrous kit , then you can spray a 200 shot .
