Default TT kit install

Just wondering is a twin turbo kit lets say from STS something a DIYer can pull off at home? Has anyone tried this at home on jack stands?

Haven't installed a TT STS kit at home... but I am in the process of installing a single Turbo Cerra kit at my house on jack stands. Don't really know if that helps or not but the kits don't seem to hard to do.

Getting ready to do it in a couple of weeks. I got the kit 2 days ago. I want to install a new clutch and take out my 4.10s and put in 3.42s and break the stuff in before I do the TT kit. I will be doing it on stands in my garage.

Any of the kits are capable of being installed at home without a lift. It's just a question of how big a PIA it'll be.

I did my STS kit on a lift. I would not try doing it without a lift. It could be done, but it will be much more difficult (and painful!)

I will be installing an STS kit in a couple weeks also and I will be using a lift. I am sure it can be done on stands but it is not worth the extra work if you have access to a lift.

Just from reading the instructions, they say to totally remove the swaybar and release pressure of the rear leaf spring, I would think that you could do this with jackstands. Nothing looks too difficult, but there is ALOT of work to do it right. I already made a new bracket for the PVC switch valve and pressure switch and thats the first thing that I've installed so far. I'm going to install the oil pump next, using jack stands....actually only ramp stands.

Default www.synergymotorsports.net or http://www.eastcoastsupercharging.com/

You can buy the kits at http://www.synergymotorsports.net/ or http://www.eastcoastsupercharging.com/. They are both STS vendors and have huge forced induction experience. You find the pricing is right on as well.

I was asking about TurBOve#E's Cerra kit, since that's what I have; but thanks anyway!

After mods to the Downpipe, I can remove my entire Cerra Kit in about 1.5 hours (on jackstands).

I have a freind from the dark side (Cobra land ) who is willing to help me and he says we can do it on his lift. What kind of numbers can I expect on a totaly stock 1998 ls1 with long tubes and a six speed SAFELY. How long should this take 2 good wrenchers to install?

FWIW he just finished his single T76 install on a totally stock 03 Cobra so far hes getting 650rwhp @ 10psi and mid 800's rwhp @ 18psi gotta love a stock forged motor.

I was just kidding about mine being better

I got my kit from a guy named ... i don't remember.
My mods include... flowmaster exhast and short shifter, so I'm completely stock under the hood. Turbo is the first mod.
