Sounds about right. Add long tube headers and a smaller pulley and you'll probably pick up at least 40 rwhp.

with 273 gears thats probably about right. 118-121mph for the hp you are making and gears you are running. Switching gears will help out some also, so will headers.

my best 60 was 1.898 i believe. 7.677 1/8 11.777 quater at 118mph

If I get tires and stall it up on launch what do you think my car is capable of at 447hp. how would 3:43 gears help my times

i have a grudge match really against this kid in a cobra. I know I can beat him but I cant run consistantly I am either in the high 11s or low 12s. his best run was a 12.1 where he beat me only because his reaction time was 171 to my 536 i ran a 12.03 on that pass I won but he beat me to the line and is tellin everyone he won on video tape. I am running a 20 inch wheel on street tires i know thats my first problem I am buying a set of 17/ 18s and putting nittos on them. thinking about a 3:42 gear. with tires and gears should i be low 11s. I just want to put it to him basically lol

You'll pick up 3-5 MPH in the 1/4 by adding long tubes and a smaller pulley.

with tires and gears should i be low 11s, consistant mid 11s for sure. Are you running a DTE trany brace or hardened output shaft? Usually anything below 1.7 60ft or so and things start to break.. How much boost are you running. Headers, a smaller pulley and a tune would get you in the 550rwhp range. There even with 1.8 60fts will get you low 11's... Your hp sounds a little low for an A&A setup.

10psi is the max you want. If you look around you can find used headers for $900. Thats what I payed for my Kooks and 3" x pipe. But when you add headers it will lower your boost a little but add 50rwhp at the same time. Good for 3mph in the 1/4...Also keep your revs under 6500rpm..

I also bought my cam, springs, ti retainers and hardened pushrods from forum members. I have like $500 in my cam and valvetrain. Did the install myself. A good blower cam will also add 50-60rwhp...

mine just hit 3800miles With 80000 miles it wouldn't hurt to change your valve springs and timming chain. They are probably pretty tired...

so when I lose boost with the headers is it okay to get a smaller pulley to bump it back up to 10 psi

You will need to see how much boost you loose first. Without a cam you will probably not lose much. Maybe 1psi...

Your mph and ET's are identical to mine when I had a 2.73 in my car. FYI, I picked up my headers used from a forum member for $600.

If I were you I'd install a 2800 stall converter, 3.42 gears and good set of Drag Radials and then suck the paint off that Slobra. If you can't do all of em at the same time, the first thing you HAVE to do is get rid of that 2.73......My ET's went from 11.8x-11.9x to 11.12 with the change of the carrier alone- and I picked up about 11mph (130)

I'll send you the vid of my car making that 11.12 pass if you want.....Just so happens I was next to a Benz CL600 V-12 twin turbo.....I hurt his feelings
