Default ***Introducing the new PRO Dry kit***

I would like to introduce the new PRO Dry kit, a Nitrous Direct house kit, based on the Cold Fusion 400hp n2o noid (lifetime guarantee). Designed especially for the LSx platform: F-Bodys, Y-bodys (c5/c6). It is a dual nozzle set-up for the best/even MAF reading, using Stainless Steel nozzles, not aluim like other kits. Horse power ratings come to 125, however, the sky is the limit when upgraded injectors and/or fuel pump are added. (higher than 125hp on some vehicles out of the box: ask)
Myself, Scott and Ellis (Speed Secrets) have collaberated on specing this new kit for the LSx. We feel it is a great bargain, using quality parts, and a very complete and ready to go kit, with safety items included ie: fuel press safety switch, NHRA blow down kit (these are normally an extra charge). We chose to use, as the heart of this system, a 400hp PRO Cold Fusion solenoid for durability and future hp upgrading. This is a very clean straight foward install. This kit is also easy to convert to dual stage and/or progressive when ready (these noids can handle progressive). Redundant solenoids are available for those who wish.
Nirous Direct will support all of your technical needs, don't be afraid to e-mail or pm me, with no questions consider unimportant. We will help in anyway needed before, during or after install. We hope to earn your trust and future purchases.
I will personaly be changing out my dual stage 5177 to the better quality PRO Dry. Look for a dual stage version of the PRO Dry at a later date, or can upgrade for you now.
Look for new kits and products to be released in the near future.
***All kits now included a free DVD install video for wet/dry kits and all acc. a industry first.***

PRO Dry kit price $525, with a limited time free bottle blanket (see me for code). Compare the completeness of this kit, and price, to others, and you will see the bargain. Here is a pic.

Thanks Robert

If I already have the 5177 kit installed, how does this differ other than the solenoid? Looking at the parts shown......sure seems to me I could just swap out solenoids have essentially have the same thing?

Right or wrong?

And haven't you always been an advocate of dual solenoids for dry kits? Why the change or heart? Or can/should dual solenoids be run here also?

Oh....and just noticed....congrats on the new "Supporting Vendor" status Robert!

Yes it's a close kit compared to the 5177. This kit has dual SS 90* fan nozzles for greater placement options and longer more durable life compared to the 5177 aluim straight nozzles. You can also make the 90*'s into straights for like Vararam installs. Redundant noids are an option, still a good idea, and stated in write up. The biggest problem with small noids is the fact that they are low amprage and thus not allways able to get past noid contaminates. This is the reason for bigger higher amp noid, among other reasons. Yes similar kits, but we offer one on one, get the same guy everytime, before, after and during install tech support. Also, a better, higher quality kit for a price that is less. Now there are two complete dry kits out, with ours being a much better deal for numerous reasons. But, your basically right. Thanks for the congrats.

a single solenoid is engine suicide.... if that thing freezes up its all over!! I think it is silly to not have a second solenoid as standard equipment.

That statement is simply not true.

99% of all nitrous kits wet or dry offer a single solenoid set up for the nitrous.

Even in a wet kit with a single noid on the fuel side and a single on the nitrous side, if the nitrous noid failed you think you're safe, that would be your arguement? Well fuel puddling in your intake then become the problem.

There is no perfect solution to anything and anyone in the business with real knowledge could point out faults to any system or setup.

Nitrous solenoids RARELY fail and if they do it's due to debris or being improperly wired. Debris can be solved with a high quality nitrous filter.

Dual noids is a decent idea if you want real redundancy, but it is not needed.

I personally run 225HP on an 8.1 and do not run dual noids in a wet set up

With a dry setup like this if it fails it's most likely not going to open, and that's not a problem.

Additionally, if your dry system noid sticks open, you will know because it will still add fuel, it will cause the rpms to come up and stay up. Ask how I know? yep had it happen, driving 30 miles to the track, one pass and then on return lane I realised what was up. Man leaving the bank, to the track, I was thinking man this thing is running good. Bottle went from 1000psi at track to less than 600psi when I got into pits. Hurt nothing and continued to race after fixing problem.

By looking at your numbers, I would say "It works well" is an understatement. Nice job.
