I am going to attempt the Sts install in my garage after Xmas. For now I was just wondering where you guys are installing the MSD fuel pump voltage booster. Thanks Rob

Put it next to the battery/fuse block, inside the plastic housing that surrounds the battery. It fits nicely there.

Thanks Guys. I was thinking that might be a good spot. Now on to the next concern. Read R&D's comment about the cats breaking up.How serious a concern is this. Would this be due to heat build up in the exhaust system and if so is this heat going to cause other problems in other areas?

Since forced induction cars run richer at WOT, the cats heat up considerably. Coupled with the elevated exhaust pressures and drastically increased exhaust volume, all combined this rapidly excelerates their failure. They'll last for a while, but they will fail in time.

Besides, they create major lag. About the only good thing about them is the cleaner air and much quieter exhaust note.

thanks R&D. Makes sense to me, and gives me more to think about. Might have to buy a set of intermediate pipes without cats in them.

You might want to call FLP. They have a "test pipe" that fits where the cats go. They use a C type clamp to connect them to the 2 pipes. You can get an idea on this picture
