Who told you not to buy Nitto or BFG? Expain what you want them for, track or street.

not sure why anyone would tell you not to buy the other 2 brands. I run BFG DRs and have hit 1.65 60s.

The only reason not to run these is that they don't flex that much and could cause damage to your car. MT ET would be your best choice,,,

Car & Driver just published a tire article for the first time in a dozen years.

They rated the GoodYear GS D-3 as the absolute best....in the wet and 2nd best in the dry. The best dry tire was the BFG KD by the smallest of margin.

Default Toyo RA-1's

I have these tires. They are exactly the same tire as the Nitto RII tire with a little more tread.

The original Niito RI drag radial has same tread compound but has more sidewall flex which makes it a better straight line tire.

BFG Dr has an even softer compound and softer sidewall flex, which makes it "only" for straight line accel and don't use in the rain.

I like the Toyo's but will be trying BFG DR's soon, or if i chicken out, will buy the Nitto DR's.

Can you confirm the KUHMO MX ECSTA scored in the top 4 or so under dry conditions but dead last in wet conditions? I went with these for steret driving and so far i have been happy with them!!!
