I completely agree. There are plenty of reputable guys out there with shops or trying to open a shop that get a bad name because of people like this.

I think you should write a letter to the BBB, to the local papers, and keep doing this. You have the right to mention their name on a website, so keep doing it, put it in the title of your post and say stay away from _____. Like my wife takes her car to Jiffy Lube, and they always try to sell her an air filter (every three thousand?) Dumb hacks, just don't know why she buys one every time!!!!!

Just kiddin. But seriously, do everything you need to to draw negative attention to their company. I would also include a email address and have people write to them and say they read about what they did to you and it is wrong, and they should refund your money.

If it was not so far I would suggest picketing. But otherwise drawing a lot of negative attention on the web can do a lot for your cause as well.

Have you tried speaking with the owner of the shop directly? I was in a similar situation and all it took was an e-mail to the owner of the shop to straighten things out.

I'm not giving up on this shop just yet I hope that they will fix this pos car ASAP so I can drive it around, how it is that you buy a car for around 44,000 and put nearly 30,000 in it to get it, to where you want it (fast) and after all this it is still a pos.
Dont get me wrong I love my vette but it is just getting very frustrating, that i do all this to take it to the track to race it and have fun with it and 97% of the time it is in the shop.
I learned just like you but it took me less time. You tried to save money by going to "some shop". Then when they screwed you, you again tried to save money by getting your friends blower. When you go to a reputable shop with lots of references and buy new parts from reputable dealers then you end up with a good running car. I originally took my car to"'Some guy" in Ill. and he got my car almost finished and then went out of business so my car went to MTI where they screwed up a bunch of stuff. I finally have my car at the right place, Xtreme Motorsports and they do good work.

It is not just "some shop." The name has been mentioned here, but I think he is waiting to see what they are going to do before he starts dropping names.
