Congrats on the A&A setup, I have one of Andys now old DS1C setups and just love FI and his customer service on his products. You went with a stand-up shop on the West Coast who will treat every customer as number 1. I know this from mail order from him and time spent on the phone going over my goals. He did not over sale me on anything and this is what I really liked. BTW welcome to the FI world you will really love the increased HP that is available at your right foot, I know I do

Congrats on your project. You definitely made a good decision sending your car to a pro who will treat you well.

I'm not too far behind you.... Thinking abt the same setup. Can't figure out if I like the Novi 2000 or the Vortech. Kit wise, quality is the same - IMO, just the head unit keeps me thinking. Probably isnt enough of a difference between the two to warrent the time. My ultimate goal is either a forged 402/427.

Q; Did you consider a cam / head swap why your there? You have a Z so your heads are better flowing then mine (2003 C5 MN6 coupe). Trying to figure out if changing to a FI cam and a better flowing head will help. Understand that the Vortech SC can jam enough air into a LS1 to blow the bottom right out, and that max power can be obtained by a SC alone. I am looking at improving the lower end of the torque curve, prior to any boost hitting and thought that the H/C may help. Any thoughts?

I've got this at the top of Santa's list although he (she...) dosnt like to get me xmass presants that cant fit below the tree Perhaps I may have to take my C5 to Andy for an oil change..... an expensive one at that

Doing a cam swap to a nice blower cam can help your bottom end but I would be wary of swaping to higher flowing heads to improve the bottom end. I think what you really want is to keep the velocity of the intake charge as high as possable. So keeping the stock heads will do that. JMHO
BTW the Z06 cam 2001-2003 looks pretty good for a blower and it will fit under the tree and not break the bank.
