Intercoolers

Hello,I have one of the older intercoolers ( big one from A&A early kits) is there any benefit from the bigger intercooler?

yes, they make the charge cooler.

On the other end, if it is too large it will cause turbo lag.

Think about it like this, if you took a compressor (turbo) and filled up a 55 gallon drum to 15psi, and someone was filling a 3 gallon bucket to 15psi with the same size compressor, which would fill faster?

So do you have noticable turbo lag? you may fix some of that by switching to a smaller intercooler?

Never had it on car. I have 3.85 rr pulley so would that make up difference?
