looks at my sig. I was thinking of putting NO2 on my car when the AFR heads get bolted on. Ill have just under 11:01 compression and I was wondering if that is to much compression for a 100 shot. Ill also be putting in a new clutch at the same time
you will be fine....pump gas, 11-1 CR and 150 shot will be perfect, even without timing retard (more than likely, will still want to check for KR on wideband). At most you will need a timing tuner to pull out 2 degrees or so IF you get KR (which you probably wont). Stock MLS gaskets are very very nice, don't worry. Go spray.

I used to run a 150 shot with no probs with timing, gaskets, or any thing else. Don't forget...colder plugs (I ran NGK TR6s). Good Luck!
What you want to avoid is using nitrous at too low of rpm with higher compression. Use a tps switch or rpm switch , mines set at 3400 but im blown too so im not sure were you want to set it ,generally above 3000rpm. A couple of coworkers of mine have cobras and they changed the pullies which gave them more boost but cost them some head gaskets actually cost one of them the whole top end , i guess when the heads lifte the cam drive broke. You will want to run coler plugs and retard your timing a degree or two. I got sick of ordering those tr6,s and found that ac delco R42lts plugs work great.
As long as you have stock timing (none added) 95% of the time no timing pull is needed on 150hp hit or less. Scaning for knock retard is a good idea to ultimately check timing. Use a wideband for checking a/f ratio which is also a good idea for safety. Use the highest octane fuel you can get ie: 92/93/94. Colder plugs like the tr6 gapped at .035 is a good idea as the stockers can become blow torches because of the narrow grounding strap (get red hot). Your comp. is great for a street/strip car, no worries. Good luck, and have fun. If you have any tech questions feel free to pm me.
