I wish I could do the install but I can't.
They feel that all the R&D is finished. That's not why they want the car.
The reason they want a car that is bone stock and looks stock is that they are doing the instruction manual from this car. They may take tons of pictures and actually take parts on and off a number of times to get the right shots.
Rudy's car was a different story. That was totally an R&D car.
Anyway, that's what's going on as far as I know. Stilll a good deal for someone.

Andy has a great reputation and probably more exprience with F/I C5's than all of us put together (except for the other F/I installers like ECS). If he is involved with install and tune, then I wouldn't be worry one bit about the kit. And since where I am at it is raining about every day, he could take 8 weeks if he wants.

my thoughts exactly. I'm certain, if Andy is involved, this will end in nothing but big-time HP and TQ!

This is almost as good as my yearly giveaways!
This is the deal as quoted to me from Kenne Bell:

Post all you like on this thread to keep it up top but please don't call or email me unless you can abide by these rules "exactly"
I just can't field 100 calls from guys who really don't fit the bill.
Obviously a local customer would be better for all concerned. If you know anyone who may be interested and fits the bill, please let me know.
Maybe I should auction this off!!
I fit the bill. Or at least I thought I did. Andy, you should update your thread that it has to be a 6 speed tranny and not an A4 in the requirments. Damn,....I new I should have bought a 6-speed.

There's no sense in kicking yourself, you can change it over. There are lots of guys that did it. Earl has a nice set-up for sale here:

See post #2.......................

Personally, I think that the A4 one would be better anyway, especially if you're going to put some boost to it!

If you think about it, all of the fast gyus are going to A4's. There's a reason for that. Just food for thought, so you don't beat yourself up over it!

I have a 2000 coupe 6 speed with no mods engine wise. It just sits in the garage currently, so I would have no problem giving it up. Needs a paint job anyways, so it works out.
