Hey there Jeff....looks like you made it home safe and sound. I was hoping that you'd come on line and post to Tenderfoot that you had the video's and pics, as I saw you doing this when I first pulled in.
Good anology to a 747. Love that sound.
Hey Don - I made it home safely (after taking at 2 hour nap at a rest stop, lol!)
I fired off a post in the General C5 thread about the day's event(s)...and thanked you for lunch, again.
I've posted the link to the vids, etc. I couldn't walk away from there without a few good pictures - something about ~12 vettes sitting around just gets you all warm an fuzzy inside!
Ok, time for bed...great meeting ya, Don.
- Jeff
P.S. Lemme know how it works out with your son and flight school, etc!
I can attest to the post by Don! I was there getting my car tuned when they had yours up on the dyno. I think a 747 Turbofan Jet engine is a good analogy. Funny story: I took a few videos and pictures while i was there and I have 3 or 4 videos of your car on the dyno and only ONE of mine - that's how much i loved the sound of your car on the dyno.
I'm sure you are going to enjoy the car...and if you want the videos, PM me and give me an email address...i'll give you a link to my server that has all my car goodies on it.
"shhhhhhWOOOOSH!" - gotta love the turbo.
- Jeff
Holy video capture, Batman! Thanks a bunch. I just sent you a PM with my email address. So, if you wouldn't mind emailing me those videos, would appreciate it. Thanks again. Isn't this forum great .
