Yep, if set at 3000rpm then noids should not click till then. I would recheck wiring, as something may be amiss. Is it a digital, if so, many have been having problems.

Do you have it set correctly to recognize the coil pack ignition? IIRC the digital one the instructions were wrong on setting the box for the right ignition (I know its not the digitial one...worth a call to MSD).

Not sure as I have not installed one yet, but I remember reading that Xtrooper had to select I think 4 when the instructions said to select 1 when configuring the window switch (or it was vice versa).

Found his post...

I went out and bought an MSD digital and wired it up last night. Tested it today in the garage and on the street and it's working 100%!

One note: Don't follow the instructions and use Cylinder Mode 1 for the LS1 motor. It doesn't work. Use the 4 Cylinder mode as we normally do and it'll work fine.

yeah I had it set on 4 cyl mode... too.

One question does the relay that it hooks up to have to be grounded individually?

Or do I not ground the relay but ground out the msd and thats maybe what sets off the click right?

The wiring diagrams first show to ground out the relay too..then ground out the msd also! I am puzzled will go mess with it today again.
