Default nos bottle & heating

Mine takes forever to heat up I had my car running now for 20 min and pressure is still at 900...????
Why does it take so long I have heard of ppl heating theirs up in less then 5min.
I only have a 10lb bottle and the heater is working fine?
I can't adjust pressure on the bottle right?

They can be slow depending on outside temp. two things, make sure you have a 300 watter as opposed to the 240 watters, and use a bottle/blanket, as it will heat faster and stay hot longer. sometimes when cold out mine takes 40 minutes with the above.

that makes sence it is very cold out here and bottle was cold to begin with. it is 300 wat..never heard ot a bottle blanket heh little insulation huh... thanx anyway good to know!

Btw I just had my car running in the garage for good 15-20 min ideling on jackstands....anyhow Everything was fine but once everything got heated up i came back from posting questions on forum and my car smelled inside really bad like some burned wiring...? its almost like the heater blanket when its warmed up without the bottle it gives you that nasty rubber smell... but I checked and it was on bottle tight so im not sure whats going on i may need to think about a fire extinguisher now.

Here's my heater......just throw the bottle in there before I get in the shower and install it back in the car before leave......

Seriously.....works great! Put a bottle blanket on it and it stays close to 1000 psi all day......and with no heater!

Do you have your heater running through a relay for safety, and fused?
Here's a pic of our b/blankets, which are double quilted.

Like Robert said before, outdoor temps will affect how long it takes to heat up....Also make sure you run that bottle heater with the car on - it draws full amps with the car running vs off....Usually what I do is run the heater while I drive and by the time I reach my destination its fully heated and ready to go
