Mike there is a very easy way to install the Kenne Bell Boost-a-pump.
This how I did it in my 03 Z06. Mount the electronics box in the inside of the plastic that surrounds the battery. I installed it on the inside of this plastic sheild on the side closest to the engine. Remove the fuel pump fuse. On the supply side of the fuse connect the fused side of the KB. the output of the KB connects to the other side of where the fuse came out. There is a chassis ground connection right below where I am suggesting you mount the KB electronics, connect the black wire there. For the two red wires I described, I connected/soldered spades that were like the fuses so that I could plug them into where I described. The fuse box cover will hold the wires from vibrating out of position. The rest of the connections are as described in the instructions. I have been running mine that way for about 2 years. If your good you can connect up and mount the whole thing in about an hour , without even getting dirty.

Mainly the red box (electronics). Any other input would be great though.
Sounds like the guys above have some good advice. LPE put mine right beside the battery towards the fender - tucked in real nice, you'd never know it was there!
I put the red box insde the driver rear inner fender well. Font side near the fuel filler neck. Drilled a couple holes and mounted it to the metal frame. It stays dry in there and is out of the way. Plus it is close to the pump. No need to clutter the engine bay. Then ran the wires up through the tunnel and installed the adj. dial box right near the battery. I believe this is where Andy at A&A mounts his as well.
Take off your driver side rear wheel. There's a space beside (not inside) the wheel well that you can use to safely mount your BAP. I've seen others mount it in the battery tray area.
Remove that plastic fender liner, it is attached with a handful of bolts. Then mount the pump to the bulkhead, in the area between the innner fender liner and fuel neck, in front of the wheel. Hard to describe but that is where it should go. remove the liner and take another pic and I will show you. Plus you can ground it right to the bulkhead and run your wires right down into the silver cover surrounding the end of the fuel tank & pump.
I'm sure I can find it with your description, unless someone else is dying for another pic, I will go out and take one. I like the idea of running inside the liner just to keep it away from the road grime. I will have these off this weekend because I'm gona go ahead and run the STS charge pipes while I have the driveline out.

Guess I'm kinda lazy in that I didn't want to run the fuel pump wiring all the way back to the rear of the car. I installed the BAP in the battery tray and connected the wiring to the fuse block like glennd describes above. When de-mod time comes, all I do is remove the electrical connector and replace with a fuse. BAP De-mod in 15 minutes or less
Here's a pic of the wiring connection.
So why in the world would you want to go through all this other stuff of mounting in the rear? Mounting it this way you don't even use a relay.
It uses the relay the that already exist in the fuse box, and you still have a fuse in the system, the inline that comes with the KB.
The only slight disadvantage is the aproximate 3/4 Volt loss in the stock wiring, which is not an issue unless you have the KB turned up all the way and you are runnining out of voltage required at the fuel pump.
If that is the case there is another quick fix to get more volts out of the KB. Just a quick note on the installation the red wire from your fuse block replacement connector should not be connected to anything. I did not have a fancy peice like you installed, so I just cut down two single spade lugs. BTW you might ask why would you want to demod it. Two reasons 1) replacement due to failure, 2) I just removed mine because I had to convert to a second Fuel pump, and it is no longer required.
