Default A & A Vortech ? ? ?

I'm going to be purchasing one soon and I've come to my conclusion that I am going to do the instal myself. I just would like to know how the oil lines are run and if anyone has pics that would be awesome !

For the feed there is a plug on the driver side front of the block. Take this plug out and screw the steel feedline in. Route it up behind the ldler and right up the front of the block. I use the top waterpump bolt, pop it out, use a brakeline type clamp, and tighten it back down. Then under the Throttle body and over to the blower.

The return comes out of the bottom of the blower and then above the A/C compressor and back to the dipstick. With the kit a dipstick is suppled with a "Y" fitting at the bottom and clamps. Oil goes right back into the engine.

If you look close in this pic you can see the feedline coming up to the right of the waterpump pulley and under the TB.

You can see the oil line going into the block to the right of the balancer right at 3 o'clock. This was taken just after installing a cam and pinning the crank

In this pic you can just make out the return line coming up from under the header and over the A/C compressor. Everything gets tied down when done to clearance the headers. There is insulation on the tubing which is also a high heat type.

I routed my feed line the same as 78Vette-SA. I choose to run the return line back into the oil pan. Straight out the bottom of the SC along the rack and pinion and in to the oil pan. Andy recommended that set up over using the dip stick. Drilling the oil pan wasnt that big of a deal. I'll post a picture of were I have the hole when I get home. I did have to buy a tap to thead the oil pan hole($10). One was not included in the kit.

Could someone tell me if this would be a problem using this point for oiling considering it is effectively screened but not filtered oil. Can this damage the bearings if it's not filtered.

Thanks,
