Default FI engine build

need some help getting a engine started for a forced induction setup.

right now I have a 99 FRC with aftermarket pushrods, valve springs retainers , timing chain , retainers,. CAM , intake , exhuast....

I want to get the car prepped for a F I setup , I want to run about 15psi, Can I just put a forged shortblock in the car and go? another words not change the heads? I wasthinking about doing a thunder racing shortblock, with aftermarket crank pistons rods, but dunno if i can keep the same heads... looking for the most cost efficent way of doing this, also best place to get a Forced Induction motor built? any help would be good,.,thanks

W2W has, in my opinion, the best mail order motors.

Personally I'd spend the extra few bucks to get some decent heads. Plenty of options out there in the $1,000 - $1,500 range.

Good luck,

Mark

I am very happy with my A&A 346 short block and West Coast Heads and this has made some very good numbers for me with my A&A DS1C
