Roughly $10,000 depending what side dishes you want.

And thats just to get it in and drive away.
I figured for 10k, I could get a supercharged vette.

I dont think thats correct.

I have an A4, so a new tranny will be needed at some point. After that, I may need the stronger output shaft and hardened dif. just to keep things from breaking unless they brake first.

Youll be told its all in how you drive, but you hit the pedel one too many times, and somethin' gonna break. How do you know?

I'm figureing 10k to get started, and 8k in the bank for breakage.
My car is in the garage resting more than its on the road, but I dont want it sitting there because it's broke. I dont race, so hopefully I wont need to fix things too quickly. I thought I did enough homework to know what it would cost me. I'm nervous I will be spending for a long time on this thing. Hope its worth it.

10K is just a start, unless you drive like my wife and only have the blower for looks. I spent double that as I did more than just performance upgrades and I know that as I drive the pi$$ out of it I will be back in the shop for some new parts. If you stay around 500-550 rwhp maybe you will be able to stay away from breaking parts, but with fun that I have driving and that most have when they get this new power, breaking is more the norm, than not

I currently have 3k since I did my upgrades and my only worries at the present time is the stock tranny and differential. They were not in the mod budget when I built my beast so until I am ready for these items to be replaced putting a drag pack on is out of the question

Running 450 rwhp and 500 rwtq and the costs were close to thirteen. I don't race but i do definitely go WOT once in awhile. With my hp and tq i should be fine. Upgrades were fuel system. radiator, guages, catch can, plugs, cooling the turbos, MAF, valve spring kit, LS7 clutch, and Magnecor plug wire set.
