Yes, both backlights went out already and I don't trust the boost readings. They are close, but I don't like the way it ticks up. It seems too slow. I was told it could be programming problems but I'm fed up with it now and I'll chalk it up as a loss because I really don't want to uninstall the sensor lines. I ran them nice and neatly tucked away while I had the driveline out. I'm not going through all that work to send it back for warranty. I guess I'm gonna just cut the lines and put a new one in.

Is it possible to fit an Eboost 2 in an a pillar? Does this unit act as a boost controller and a boost gauge? Are ya happy with it? If I'm going to have to buy another controller and another gauge, I may as well buy the Eboost2 if it works right.

I think that's the whole point The Eboost 2 is the shape/size of a regular guage you would put in your pillar.

If you buy apexi, could you also line up a nice source to buy a forged motor after you blow the stock unit? It would save time!

That's the simplest way . I have an Innovative boost controller which I had problems with last year . Cartek wound up disconnecting it and sending it back to Innovative , they had it for 3 months . It's going back in the car this week(hopefully) , we'll see how it works this time . I know Paul Z (Cartek-346TT) and a local 7-second C4 also run the Innovative unit without problems .

SBC i-D Sequential Boost Controller i-D with digital display for me.

Kind of in on this late.. a lot of the TTiX guys are using these Blitz controllers. I just put mine in today.. will see how it works. Only setup to run off the gates while I break the motor in.

How are ya liking it so far? Where did you mount the display? Do you have a separate boost gauge or are you using this for both? Thanks!

I like the controller... I have it mounted in the ashtray area for now. I have a separate boost gage too.. really only because I already had it when I had the supercharger. I guess I could get a cheap gage and mount it on the pillar like some of the other guys do.

Still breaking the car in so I really cannot comment on the control factor, but there are several of the TTiX guys using these controllers, that is really why I got it.

I will let you know more when I get to WOT

Thanks, when will your break in be done? Inquiring minds want to know. I need to order a new controller ASAP and am still up in the air on which one to get. I'm almost scared to buy another digital one, that goes for the boost gauge as well. I am tempted to buy the 60mm Eboost2 to kill two birds with one stone and put it in the A-Pillar, but again, its digital. It think I just have a sour mouth for two expensive things screwing up on me at the same time.

How big is that display you have? I'm wodering how it would look mounted in the OEM gauge cluster area.

Well the break in will be done as soon as I can.. I am right now driving 40 miles per day back and forth to work, about 20 miles each way and driving around for my lunch hour, have about 100 miles on it right now. This weekend I am going to try to get about 3-400 hundred on it. It is going to take a week or two though. With a new baby it is pretty hard to get out and drive around for 3-4 hours.. which is what I would normally do.

I saw the Eboost, man they are pretty expensive. I just went on what I was told by the other guys using them. The display is small, I would say about 3" x 1.5" tall x 3/4 of an inch thick. I like to hide as much as possible. I don't like a bunch of blinking lights in the car... I think it is would be fine for a boost gage as well the display he plenty big enough to see.

Any update on this unit? I guess I'm gonna order this one or the Eboost2 depending on your answer. Gonna go measure the a-pillar for the Eboost. The smalles model is around 2.36 in. Might look goofy being oversized.

Sorry nothing... I am still breaking the motor in. I have about 350 miles on the car.. so it is going to be another week. With everything going on I just don't have time to go out and drive around to break it in. I do about 40 miles round trip to work and then go and drive around for about 30 minutes at lunch.. that is about it. It is supposed to rain here for the rest of the week too.

The Blitz is definitely large enough to use as a boost gauge. That's what I do. The AutoMeters are just to look purdy.

How accurate is it as a boost gauge? Is it in real time, in otherwords, is there any lag in its readings? Also, what is the big deal with fuzzy logic and why do some say stay away from it? Do you have any pics of how yours is mounted? Thanks!
