Just like the title says, my fuel solonoid is stuck closed. Is there any way to "free" it, should i venture into taking it apart, or should i just buy a new one? Its a NOS brand.
I tried lightly tapping it with a hammer, power on and off with no luck (the car was off).
Send it back to NOS for a rebuild (if they do it for free), otherwise buy a new one. The plunger sometimes swells due to additives and stuff in the gas. I am getting mine back soon from rebuild, the fuel solenoid didn't want to open up either (swelled plunger).
It went BANG real loud, that's how I found out the fuel wasn't working. Luckily it was only a 100 shot....not the 250!
