I am running a 224/568 cam with dart 205s and all the bolt ons. I have being considering a SC for a long time, but have never had enough cash at one time (as compared to a part here and there.) I have been leaning toward the maggie because of it's WOW factor,a along with ease of installation and low end torque. I have been noticing some of them around the forum for mid $3's, which is much more possible to swing than $7000.
My question is whether or not a SC is really feasible at this point. I am running approx. 11-1 comp, which is proably not the best for a SC setup, and an aftermarket cam that might not be the best fit for a FI either. Is a SC still a logical fit at this point, or should I just keep tweaking my H/C - N2O setup and enjoy not breaking things
sell the heads and buy stock 241's for $200 to help pay for the maggie or sell the heads and get some LQ9's for cheap, then go to town with it. the stock zo6 heads make very good power also and the 224/224 cam is ok for FI if the lsa is greater than 112, the LPE maggie cam is 220/226 on a 114 lsa. you will be pinning the crank anyway so you could change the cam without to much more work.
