Default FLP Tranny Problems

I am posting this here in case any of you have had a similar problem. My 98 A4 with P1SC is being tuned. During the tune, we had a small fire on the left side of the engine. It melted a few wires and shorted out the BCM. After replacing the BCM and reloading the tune, the FLP level 5 tranny is just undriveable. It doesn't want to shift. It just hangs. Has anybody had this problem? Any ideas?? My tuner is stumped.

Contact Level 10 Transmissions in NJ. They might be able to shed some light on the story.

Level 10? Why not Level 11 ? Reminds me of 7 minute abs followed by 6 minute abs, and so on.

I WOULD CALL CHUCK JOHNSON of FLP Transmissions ASAP (he is no longer with the original FLP and has moved so i don't have a phone contact for him) and he will get you guys squared away! I am sure this is probably not the problem (but you never know) however, i do know his tranny is set-up to shift based upon the vacum boost of the motor! Sorry to hear about your issues but CHUCK (a great guy) who stands behind his product will get you fixed up!!

630-350-7776 is chuck#s i bet the vacuum line to the tranny was burnt
