Most of us are just running the 20amp version, right?
I got mine so long ago that I can't remember which one it is. They have a 20 and a 40amp and I can't imagine why a 40 would be required with 1 pump, but I saw one on ebay and it said it was a 20amp which does not include the adjustment dial...
I need one for another project. Anyone got an extra one for sale?
Good question, I have the 40 going along with my Racetronix. It's cranked all the way up. Throw in some 60#ers and I am supporting 800rwhp with some more to go, and I am using the stock returnless system and dinky rails that came stock on my 02 Coupe. Those are my only fuel upgrades.
I don't think more amps would help the flow any (but you never know). The pump is only going to pull so many amps at 17v and all the testing I have seen shows a single pump never going beyond 15amps. I just got confused when I saw that BAP on ebay saying that the 20amp version has no dial. I think that guy was just trying to sell something missing a part....
both 20 and 40 amp version have the dial.
some people remove the **** and solder the wires together inside the main unit.
The Max I have seen pumps draw is about 7.5 amps, hence I get the 20amp version unless I and running an inline pump as well. But, I have run the racetronix pump w/GL392 on a 20 amp version with no issues.

Cool thanks for the clarification.
I don't know why anyone would tell you get the 40amp Cajundude. Maybe the 40amp units are better for some other reason that has nothing to do with the amp rating.
