The earlier tune was for ~ 8#'s. The original tune was a break-in tune. Its currently sitting at 11psi with no meth. He is still doing some tweaking and I need to put in my new meth pump (I alternate every year for safety). At that point we can truly turn it up (for the track). At 11psi, the car obliterates the tires. The new combo builds boost so fast now, I have to temper the right foot a lot more than with the single and the 6 spd.

God, I laughed so hard I almost choked...No offense to the owners of the ECS or A&A kits. I would never go back to screwing around with belts again. Mark is correct, its a TTIx.

RE: Which is faster. Its hard to say. They both just feel different. Right now the Viper is making more power and I've just started to turn the boost up. I can say this...the Vette feels so much easier to drive..just point and shoot.

Default Break in tune

Congrats Earl,

I can now relate somewhat. The TTiX is way scary at 3500 compared to the old D-1 setup. A few more miles and it'll be my turn for the re-tune and meth turned on.

When I picked it up, Phil told me "it will never be any slower than this" "Pig fat rich, no timing, probably only 600/600 he said. Holy keeee-rappp after the 1st roll on in 3rd gear. The 3.90's are a tad overkill. I will seriously consider putting 3.42's back in.
We Michiganders are SOOOO LUCKY to have Dr.Phil. ("will work for wings")

It goes in Monday to get the hood and tigershark (thank you) painted.

How did you do in your first BB competition, was it nerve racking?
Keep the shiney side up young man.

Regards,
George

Yeah, but it is MUCH easier to shift. I'm still running the stock clutch. The McCleod, although it held the power, was a pita to shift. I'm not a great stick driver, but it made me look much worse than I am.
